After School Art Club for Kids

Join us for an exciting 8-week journey into the world of art and creativity! Each week, children will dive into a fun, creative journey through art history by learning about iconic artists and creating projects inspired by their works. Each session will focus on a different artist, where kids will not only discover fun facts about the artist’s life and style but also explore the techniques that made their art special.

Workshop dates: 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13, 11/20

• 4:00pm - 5:00pm
• Ages: Suitable for children grades 1-4
• Duration: 1 hour per week for 8 weeks
• Materials: All materials will be provided.
• Cost: $150

This class is perfect for kids who love to explore new ideas, get creative, and express themselves through art. By the end of the course, each child will have a portfolio of diverse artwork and a deeper appreciation for the world of art.

*Students may bring water to drink, but please no food.

About the instructor: Kirsten is a talented artist and dedicated mom of two who has been passionate about art and creativity for over 25 years. With a BFA degree in Design, Kirsten has honed her skills in various artistic mediums, specializing in macrame, design, and other crafts. Her love for teaching and inspiring young minds led her to work with Art-ventures for Kids, where she taught after school art programs in public schools. Kirsten's approach to art is all about encouraging imagination and self-expression, making her classes a fun and enriching experience for children of all ages.

By enrolling your child in this class, you agree to the following:

• Gather on Hopmeadow takes all possible precautions to reduce risk and provide safe, healthy and enjoyable experiences.
• I warrant that my child is able to follow directions for all activities in the studio/class. I acknowledge that risks from participation in class activities exist and that I have allowed my child to attend art class knowing these risks and their possible consequences including personal injury.
• As a parent or guardian of my child, I agree that I will not hold Gather On Hopmeadow liable for any personal injury, property damage or loss of insurance. I agree to release and hold harmless Gather on Hopmeadow, from all liability incurred as a result of my child’s participation in studio class and that these terms serve as a release for me, volunteers, property owners and members of my family.
